NIck Paterson

Book & Lyrics

Nick Paterson has either written, adapted, directed or acted in a number of well-received shows – at Westminster school, at University and, since 1980, at his family- run Prep School. Many of these have been musicals, for which he has written the script and lyrics, for several years alongside Anthony Merryweather’s music.

Two such ventures were history-based musicals  - 1605 and All That (a dark pantomime based on the Gunpowder Plot) and He Never Smiled Again ( a satirical reworking of the Henry 2nd/Thomas Beckett story) and he is delighted to have teamed up with Anthony again in a rather more profound rendering of a disturbing slice of recent history.
